SKILLBILL seeks to raise awareness and the level of education among academia, industry, decision-makers and civil society on the urgent need decarbonize our societies through extensive deployment of renewable energy sources (RES). This will be achieved by improving skills that can be applied in future-proof labor markets, in university education and research, as well as in innovation and the formulation of better policies that emphasizes, amongst others, bridging the gender gap

 

SKILLBILL proposes concrete actions to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy at different

levels:

1. 1. Stakeholder community engagement (Stakeholder joint initiative)
   2. Knowledge sharing and peer learning (Green knowledge sharing; Project website)
   3. Skilling, upskilling, reskilling (International Master; Vocational Education and Training; virtual reality)

SKILLBILL will:

1. 1. analyse and involve all the interested parties in open discussion using adequate language;
   2. create several different pathways to increase skills after having mapped knowledge gap and without gender prejudice;
   3. develop and implement innovative learning method;

 

 

SKILLBILL is a 3-year EU funded Horizon Europe project (GA 101075587), started in September 2022.
